● INTEGRATIONS & PARTNERSHIPS
Collaboration and integration designed to complement innovative survey approaches
GeoAcoustics works with customers and partners to integrate proven sonar technology with crewed and uncrewed survey platforms, sensors and software, creating practical solutions for optimal marine surveys and inspection.
Connecting sonar with the wider subsea workflow
GeoAcoustics works with equipment manufacturers, software developers, system integrators and end users to incorporate our sonar technology into wider survey systems. Integration can involve hardware, communications, data outputs and software interfaces, depending on the platform and the other technologies that need to operate alongside the sonar.
This collaborative approach is particularly valuable when a customer needs a complete survey capability rather than a standalone sensor. By considering the wider system from the outset, we aim to make the sonar work within established workflows and reduce unnecessary changes to the vessel, platform or data environment.
Vessels and autonomous platforms GeoAcoustics equipment is incorporated into conventional crewed survey vessels, ROVs, AUVs and USVs. Working with the platform owners and opewrators, we design for practical constraints including available space, power, communications, installation practicality and optimised deployment. Sensors, software and data Our systems can operate alongside navigation, positioning, motion sensing, data acquisition and processing technologies. Work may include third-party sensor support, data exchange and interface development to create a more coherent survey workflow.
How we collaborate and integrate our technologies
From defining the operational need to proving the completed configuration, integration is developed around the complete system and the work it must perform.
1 / Application & Requirements
We establish the survey objective, operating environment, platform constraints and the systems that need to work together.
2 / Interface Review
Hardware, power, communications, data formats and software interfaces are reviewed to identify dependencies and any adaptation required.
3 / Solution Development
GeoAcoustics works with the relevant partners to define the configuration and develop the mechanical, electrical or software elements needed for integration.
4 / Integration & Testing
The component systems are connected and tested to confirm that data and control functions operate as intended within the wider survey setup.
5 / Deployment Support
We provide technical guidance during installation, commissioning or initial use, helping the integrated solution move from development into practical operation.
Why select GeoAcoustics as your survey tech integration partner?
Proven sonar technology, open collaboration and a clear focus on innovation and operational outcomes support integration across established and emerging survey platforms.
Flexible System Integration
Hardware, communications, data outputs and software interfaces are always considered as part of the complete solution.
Platform Versatility
Our sonar technology supports deployment from conventional vessels, Remotely Operated Vehicles, Autonomous Underwater Vehicles and Uncrewed Surface Vessels.
Workflow Compatibility
Integration is planned around how customers already acquire, manage and process survey data, with focus on helping them to optimise processes and methodfologies.
Driving Innovation
We work with partners pushing the industry forward. For instance, we are currently helping Ocean Floor Geophysics to create a combined GeoScan side-scan sonar and self-compensating magnetometer solution.
Collaborative Development
We work with specialist platform and sensor manufacturers, developers and integrators, combining complementary expertise to solve practical survey challenges.
