With a global presence through our network of channel partners, we specialise in the design, development, manufacture, and commissioning of advanced side scan, bathymetry, and sub-bottom profiling sonar-systems.
GeoAcoustics has provided subsea sensors and equipment for over four decades and continues to develop innovative products, like sonar technology that is capable of outperforming multibeam echo sounders and AI systems that unlock IHO S-44 standard marine data in real time.
Our story
GeoAcoustics Ltd has been a partner for the offshore energy, subsea, and marine survey sectors since 1978. Through this time we have had two different corporate owners but today we are an independent company dedicated to ensuring we provide the best technologies and services to our customers all over the world. Further, today we run a highly sustainable operation, and are on the road to net zero at our HQ in Great Yarmouth, UK.
Our technology
Well-established as a provider of field-proven bathymetric sonars, side scan sonar and sub-bottom profilers, our technology is as depndable as it is precise. GeoAcoustics Ltd has forged its own technology path, using interferometry for accurate seabed mapping, developing Artificial Intelligence for faster data processing and unlocking new applications with form factors designed to optimise performance.
