We are pleased to announce a significant expansion of our custom cable moulding and assembly services for subsea equipment manufacturers, marine systems integrators, and offshore contractors.

The expansion follows the acquisition of a specialist cable moulding company located near our Great Yarmouth headquarters. This strategic move unlocks increased capacity and specialist expertise, enabling the delivery of complex, high-reliability cable mouldings and terminations for a wide range of marine and subsea applications.

Cable moulding is a critical process in the production and use of underwater equipment, involving the sealing and encapsulation of cable terminations to ensure electrical integrity, water ingress protection, and mechanical durability under harsh ocean conditions. High-quality mouldings are essential for maintaining signal fidelity, power continuity, and long-term system reliability in challenging subsea environments for diverse applications.

Already an established cable moulding services provider, GeoAcoustics is now positioned to support a broader range of project requirements. Our expanded capabilities allow us to take on higher volumes and more complex moulding tasks, including multi-connector assemblies, overmoulded breakouts, and ruggedised connections for ROVs, AUVs, and sensor packages.

“Our customers rely on robust and precisely engineered cable assemblies to maintain performance and uptime,” said Richard Dowdeswell, Chief Commercial Officer at GeoAcoustics Ltd. “This investment and development of our services reflects our commitment to providing not just sonar systems, but complete integration support through high-quality manufacturing and engineering services.”

We have strengthened our capabilities through the addition of the acquired company’s experienced cable moulding specialists to its team. With decades of combined expertise in subsea cable design, potting and overmoulding they will continue operating from GeoAcoustics’ new dedicated cable moulding site. The facility significantly enhances production capabilities, enabling faster turnaround, greater flexibility, and consistently high-quality results for global customers with complex and bespoke requirements.
